    I live and work in Saudi and rent out my property in Hook through Romans. I have complete faith in Elaine to always follow up on my queries and questions, no matter how trivial they seem. She is efficient and ever helpful and I would always recommend others using Romans services knowing that she was on their staff. Our only contact has been through email but it is my lifeline and I very much appreciate her commitment and focus to the job.

    I have overall been rather impressed with Romans Lettings Department in Basingstoke. I have to make a special mention to Jacqueline Cooney who has been very helpful and friendly throughout the process. All my questions and concerns were dealt with very promptly via phone or e-mail and done in a friendly manner. A downside to Romans is the high admin fees. After letting properties in Yorkshire, Winchester and Southampton there's were the highest i have come across. I havent actually moved into the property yet so i cant comment of the managing of it but i'm sure Romans will not fall from the standard i have experienced so far.

    I'm looking to possibly rent my house out, but have little idea what I'm doing. Rob popped over and chatted me through my options. He's called me at the exact times on the exact days he said he would. I've not had that elsewhere and it shows me that my house will be well looked after, if I do need to rent it out. I won't have time for people that aren't reliable, which is why Rob and Romans will be my choice, should I rent my house out.

An historic Hampshire market town, Basingstoke offers excellent modern facilities including Festival Place shopping centre, a multi-screen Vue cinema, the Aquadome swimming pool, and numerous bars and restaurants.

The town has a diverse housing market, from modern apartments to large family homes, as well as rural properties in the surrounding villages, and represents good value for money compared to other locations. There’s a good choice of local schools too, which achieve results above the national average. Conveniently located just off the M3 and only 45 minutes by rail to London Waterloo, Basingstoke is also very popular with commuters.
