Emma Doel has been managing my property for one year and she is one of the best property managers that I have worked with. She is extremely prompt when handling any issues, provides me with accurate descriptions of the issues and obtains reasonable quotes for any work performed.
She is very professional in her manner, proactive and thorough which is really important. I find that whenever there has been a problem, Emma has always suggested a solution. I value her advice and judgement as over the past year she has handled numerous issues with my previous tenants but has always highlighted anything that was urgent as soon as possible. One of the things that I like with Emma is that she will always discuss all the options which helps me greatly when making decisions.

Having jenny burgoyne as our property manager is a plesure, i find that she is very effient and on the ball with dealing with any issues with the property. I am very pleased with the service that has been given ie driveway, carpets and flooring that needed replacing quotes and work commenced very quickly and just general enquirys. We are very honoured to have such a lovely lady to look after us and is a great member of staff to romans as a company.

Since moving into the property in December 2011 we have seen few a few minor and one major problem since arriving which were quickly resolved. We find that having somebody that we could contact directly (lynn) has not only made life easier but that we can return home from work with to find any problems that occur are corrected in all cases so far the same day and. Past experiences of contacting estate agents have been dire but Romans seem to have hit the nail on the head by giving tenants a property manager. The overall customer service and professionalism are top notch.

After having a 3 month lease with Prospect and moving across to Romans I can safely say the experience is worlds apart. When viewing properties with Romans you feel like they are the true go between for the tenant and landlord, with both parties being considered. They responded promptly to all corespondance, infomred you of the current state of play, good or bad and you felt like they were putting your request across to the Landlord as you would wish. Equally the check in was very thorough and fair. She took the time to explain what would be expected of us when we checked out and made sure she took photo's to protect both us and the landlord. I think she probably also saved us several hundred pounds on the check out of the last property with her good advise. Prospects on the other hand do not come back to you, are clearly working for the Landlord alone and you get the feeling that you will not get your deposit back despite doing everything they ask. I am still waiting on mine after spending over £400 on their recommended cleaning company! Romans are thorough and fair...they take the headache out of renting. Thank you Anthony and Ben.

My husband and I approached Romans Lower Earley in respect to letting out our property. We have received a swift and professional service from them. Time was spent with us upfront on discussing what options were available through Romans and also on the reasons why we should be placing our property for rental with them over and above other agencies. We have had a number of viewings since the property went live on Rightmove and we have this weekend secured tennants for a 12 month lease. This is our first experience in letting a property and so far we are very happy with the service we have received from the team at Romans.

My agent was very efficient, he showed me around a couple of starter homes, was not pushy, but explained all that I needed to know. He sorted all the paperwork quickly, and the email from the person sorting out credit checks was also very efficient, emailed me back as soon as possible. the signing and paying for the initial rent and deposit was very smooth, I didn't have any problems with arranging appointments even though the Lower Earley office was being renovated. As I said to Ben on the day of signing, 'It was painless'. He was polite and courteous throughout even when I asked some silly questions. I would definitely use Romans in the future, if required.

Ben has now been looking after my rental property for two years and is committed, cheerful and hardworking. My new tenants are due to move in on 10 April following his successful marketing exercise and background checks to secure them. Richard was professional, knowledgable, efficient and readly available whether it be about my property or one I was looking at with a different agent!
My whole experience with Richard and the Earley office perfect for what I was looking for, my property was set up, viewed and rented out in a matter of a week and enabled my wife and I proceed with other matters and not having to worry about anything as Richard was always there with an update!
When my tenant does eventually move on, I will defiantly be using Richard and the Earley office again!

Ben and Richard have been excellent throughout this process. Richard initially handled my property and susbsequently Ben took over responsibility. Both Ben and Richard were in constant contact, replied to my calls/emails promptly and successfully let my property for me. I value their honest feedback and work effort and would recommend them to anyone looking to let a property in the local (Thames Valley) area.

Fairly pain-free process in obtaining rental property (when another company fell through at last minute). Romans were able to process quite quickly and remotely - we weren't in the geographical area - and last-minute proved to be OK, assisted by sales & admin staff

I approached Romans in order to enquire about letting my property. From start to finish the service provided by Ben Peel & Suzi Bowker was excellent. The property was marketed very efficiently with a tenant being located and moving in, in 21 days!

Agent dealt with us in an extremely professional manner. We had been let down by a previous owner and agent at the last minute and Lauren managed to find us a house and get the paperwork started all within 1 day so we were able to stick to our plans to move on a certain day. Out dealings with Ben at Romans cannot be faulted. He was waiting for us at the property, ready for the veiwing (unlike other Estate Agents who were late or didn't even turn up!). He was polite, curteous, friendly, and incredibly helpful. He dealt with everything professionally and communicated well. Very refreshing to find someone who is willing to do that little bit more to be of assistance to others. Will certainly be in touch with him in the future should we be looking again.

Romans now manage the lettings work for four properties that my wife and I own in Reading.They were selected because of the professional service they offer at a competitive charge. We disd evaluate other lettings agents but Romans were clearly the best service available and have proved to be very flexible and responsive to all our needs.

Excellent service provided from initial rental appraisal right through to the tenant moving in. Any problems that have arisen during the tenancy have been dealt with promptly and efficiently.
